Wade Brawley

CEO

Prior to forming Land Information Services, Wade served as Chesapeake Energy’s Vice President, Land Administration, where he managed Lease Records, Division Orders, GIS, Owner Relations, Corporate transaction documentation and Well Information Management. There, he facilitated the needs of the end user and the capabilities of the IT staff. This experience, together with earlier career experience as a Land Manager, Landman and Lease Analyst, has been leveraged to provide solutions to companies like SandRidge Energy, Continental Resources, Concho Resources, Apache, Le Norman Energy and Chaparral Energy.


Wade’s publishing credits include various articles published in The American Oil and Gas Reporter, World Oil and Landman. He also contributed to the fourth edition of Brock’s Petroleum Accounting Principles, Procedures & Issues. Wade is a CPL and conducted his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas and obtained his MBA at Oklahoma City University.

Vice President

Prior to joining Land Information Services, Jim was a Supervisor in Chesapeake Energy’s Land Administration department where he served as an advisor for several processes within Land, Lease Records, Division Orders and Treasury. Jim also managed the support for all major monetization transactions and mortgages for A&D, Land, Treasury, Finance and Reservoir Engineering. In addition to pre-close support, he also interfaced directly with external clients providing services and solutions for due diligence, transfer of data and data conversion. Jim helped design and implement workflow solutions that benefited interdepartmental communication and data integrity. Jim received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance with an Accounting minor at Oklahoma State University.

Director of Lease Records

Before joining Land Information Services, Amy was a Supervisor in Land Administration at Chesapeake Energy, responsible for multiple teams including ownership transfers, owner number set-up and maintenance, and payment processing; including the suspense, billing, 1099 and escheat. She was also charged with the minimum royalty review and Federal, State and BIA payments and reporting. Prior to her time at Chesapeake she spent 15 years of her career at Mustang Fuel Corporation as a Lease Analyst handling all aspects of lease records. During her time at LIS, she has been actively involved in Lease Records management, System Conversions and LandVantage development, processes, documentation and training. Amy is active in both OCAPLTA and NALTA and is a CPLTA. She has experience with Artesia, MS Dynamics, LandWorks, Quorum Land Suite, P2 Land and LandVantage systems.

Drew Hopkins brings more than 13 years of experience of owner relations management, land administration maintenance, and training consultation to his role as Director of Business Development. Drew’s primary focus is to help build awareness of Land Information Services unique capabilities among prospective clients, and develop and maintain relationships with current clients. Drew is an advocate of the company’s vision to enrich the performance of organizations and to positively impact the industry by providing premier software solutions. Prior to joining Land Information Services, Drew spent 12 years at Chesapeake Energy Corporation where he served as the Manager of Owner Relations and the company’s Communications Specialist. Drew has been featured in multiple speaking events across the nation where he was able to give presentations on building stronger owner relations and navigating through high-stress business conditions. Drew graduated from Oklahoma Christian University where he studied Business Management then went on to gain a Masters in Energy and Legal Studies from the Oklahoma City University.

Malori comes to LIS with extensive in-house Landman experience managing assets and drilling projects in Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Texas. In her years as a Landman and Team Lead for Chesapeake Energy, she oversaw the development of over 100,000 mineral acres and approximately 300 producing properties. Most recently, she has leveraged her industry knowledge to management and consulting roles with small to mid-size minerals management clients. Her expertise lies in project management, acquisitions and divestitures, due diligence, and minerals management, as well as the supervision of conventional and unconventional oil and gas drilling projects. Malori is a CPL and is licensed to practice law in the state of Oklahoma. She received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Missouri Southern State University and completed her MBA and JD at The University of Tulsa.

Cheryl is a Certified Division Order Analyst (CDOA) with over 20 years industry experience. Cheryl’s experience includes the implementation of a new land and accounting system and work flow process implementation, as well as routine and project Division Order supervision. She has handled all aspects of well set up and maintenance, including detailed analysis of title opinions, curative and other legal documents necessary to determine divisions of interest, as well as SOX compliance and audits issues. Her duties have also encompassed revenue maintenance and distribution, ONRR reporting, acquisition integration, owner relations, escheat reporting, software testing, and interest discrepancy resolution. While her main work experience is in Oklahoma and Texas, she has worked other states such as Arkansas, Kansas, West Virginia and Louisiana. Cheryl has experience in AS400, Solomon IV, SSI, Tobin, Oracle, Enertia, Excalibur, BOLO and LandVantage.

Amber began her 19 year career in oil and gas as a Land Assistant for Hal French, LLC where she attained 8 years of hands on experience in all aspects of leasing from the initial record check to testifying at pooling hearings. During this time Amber also attended the University of Central Oklahoma where she received a Masters Degree in Management and Administration. Amber transitioned from her role with Hal French to a Land Analyst at Dominion Exploration & Production, LLC for 1.5 years and then was given the opportunity to join a small start-up company, RKI Exploration & Production, LLC, where she spent 9 years in growing levels of responsibility for the Lease Records Department. As the Lease Records Manager, Amber was responsible for maintenance, obligation payments and reporting for leasehold in the Rockies, Permian and Anadarko Basin assets. Amber has experience with Tobin Land Suite, SSI, Quorum Land Suite, and LandVantage systems.

Patti started her oil and gas career working as a Lease Analyst at Woods Petroleum, then furthered her career and data skills during her 22 years at Chesapeake Energy, where she attained the position of Senior Director of Land Systems and Lease Records. In this capacity, Patti developed standards for lease and contract data management for over 1,000 system users. Additionally, Patti acted as the Land and IT liaison and led projects in data conversion, software development, process review and improvement. Patti leverages these skills to assist clients in system conversion, implementation, documentation and business process improvement.

Brenda Stremble

Land Coordinator

Prior to joining Land Information Services, Brenda worked 17 years at Chesapeake Energy as a Manager in the Land Administration Department where she managed the electronic uploading of leases, electronic payment processes, transfer processes, imaging, owner relations, 1099s, escheat, suspense and document processing. Brenda was instrumental in the development of a “Record Center” which serves all departments. Brenda is an active member of OCAPLTA and NALTA.
